TL;DR
Peec AI vs Profound vs Otterly is a choice by team: the platforms on the entry plan, the reports, the API and the security review. Our dated records of each tool's public pages state each fit, and none of the three is our product. AI platforms also compare the three before they answer. In the 28 days to 30 October 2026, ChatGPT searched the web 66 times with wordings that named two or more of them.

A marketing manager asks this question with a shortlist of three tools. An agency owner asks it with several clients in mind, and an enterprise buyer with a security review ahead. This guide sets Peec AI, Profound and Otterly AI side by side on platforms, reports, API and team fit. It also shows how AI answers rank the three, and how ChatGPT and Grok compare them before they answer. Every fact about the three comes from a record we keep of their public pages, with the day we read them. None of the three is our product.

Peec AI vs Profound vs Otterly: what does each entry plan cover?
The entry plans of all three can include ChatGPT, Copilot and Google AI Overviews. They differ on every other platform. Each tool asks AI platforms a set of prompts and counts the answers that name a brand. So the platforms a plan asks decide which answers it counts. The table renders the entry plan of each tool from our records. We read the pages of Peec AI and Otterly AI on 29 September 2026, and the pages of Profound on 24 September 2026.
| Platform | Peec AI, Starter | Profound, Enterprise | Otterly AI, Lite |
|---|---|---|---|
| ChatGPT | Included if picked | Included | Included |
| Gemini | Included if picked | Included | Add-on |
| Perplexity | Add-on | Included | Included |
| Copilot | Included if picked | Included | Included |
| Google AI Mode | Included if picked | Included | Add-on |
| Google AI Overviews | Included if picked | Included | Included |
| Grok | Enterprise only | Not tracked | Not tracked |
"Included if picked" means that the plan holds a fixed number of platforms, and you pick them from a list. "Add-on" means that the platform costs extra. "Enterprise only" means that the platform needs the Enterprise plan. A platform that the plan leaves out has no answers in the tool.
A plan card states the price of a plan, not the price of one prompt on the platforms you need. Our pricing guide divides each plan's price, add-ons included, by its prompts. Our guide on how AI visibility tools price explains prompts, credits, checks and a price on request.
How do AI answers rank the three?

How do AI platforms compare the three before they answer?
ChatGPT and Grok search the web before they answer, and their search wordings show how they compare the three. In the 28 days to 30 October 2026, ChatGPT ran 15 wordings that named two or more of the three, 66 times in all. Eight of those 15 wordings asked for pricing, and ChatGPT ran them 19 times in the same 28 days. In that window, Grok ran the search "Otterly AI vs Peec AI" 10 times and "Peec AI vs OtterlyAI" 6 times.
What do the reports and the API give you?
The three put exports and API access on different plans. The table renders both from our records.
| Tool | Exports and reports | API and MCP, by plan |
|---|---|---|
| Peec AI | CSV export on every plan. Data Studio from Advanced. | Starter: MCP. Pro: API and MCP. Advanced: API and MCP. |
| Profound | No exports on the trial. CSV and JSON on Enterprise. | Enterprise: API. |
| Otterly AI | Reports and export on every plan. Data Studio from Standard. | Lite: No. Standard: API and MCP, 2,000 requests a month. Premium: API and MCP, 5,000 requests a month. |
An agency that sends each client a monthly report should check the export format, and whether the report carries its own logo. Our guide on reporting AI visibility to clients covers the monthly client report.
Which one fits which team?
Each tool fits a different team, and our records state that fit with the main limitation beside it. The table renders both, with the projects each plan holds.
| Tool | Best for | Limitation | Projects, by plan |
|---|---|---|---|
| Peec AI | Marketing teams that want many features, with three models on each plan. | Three models per plan, with a monthly charge per further model. One country on Starter and three on Pro and Advanced. | Starter: 1. Pro: 2. Advanced: 5. |
| Profound | Enterprises whose security review needs SOC 2 and SSO, and teams that want agents rather than a dashboard. | No published price and no self-serve plan. The trial has no exports, history, API or support. | Enterprise: Custom. |
| Otterly AI | Small teams that want ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and Copilot on every plan, from 15 prompts a month. | The entry plan has 15 prompts. Gemini, Google AI Mode and Claude cost extra each month. | Lite: 1 workspace. Standard: Unlimited workspaces. Premium: Unlimited workspaces. |
- A startup tracks one brand in one market, so the entry plan decides. Read the Limitation column first, because it names what that plan leaves out.
- An agency needs a project per client, a report per client and seats for its team. On seats, our records read as follows. Peec AI: Every plan includes unlimited users. Profound: The trial and Enterprise include unlimited seats. Otterly AI: Every plan includes unlimited team members. Our guide for agencies sets every tool we compare side by side on clients, seats and reports.
- An enterprise with a security review reads the Best for column first, because one record names SOC 2 and SSO there.
Our AI ranking tool checklist gives twelve questions to ask any of the three before you buy.
